Description
The real title was SUPPOSE to be "Cross ✝ Season." But due to DA's title system being an @$$ and not letting me post mini symbols in the title, it is now "Cross Season."
Drew this about a month ago when struggling to fill up my sketchbook for Drawing/Painting 1 since the teacher said that she would take a lot of points off of our grades if our sketchbooks weren't complete. Being busy most of the time (AKA I AM BUSY PROCRASTINATING), I really had to struggle in the end and just paste a lot of my old art into it. But when I was thinking of things I could draw first, I wanted to add something that I ALWAYS wear... That and I just love drawing hands! XD
Now before you all ask me/make comments about me being Christian or something, I will admit that I am BIOLOGICALLY Roman Catholic. I am not ONE BIT religious. I just think that crosses look cool. This cross that I am holding is actually VERY special to me. It is a new cross that I bought in April of this year, but I consider it special for... I don't know how many reasons XD. But I was going through very tough times when I came around to buying it. These tough times were all trouble with school, family, and even relationships.
My boyfriend at the time DID like me back just as much as I liked him, but he was the anti-social type who ended up ignoring me anyway. I didn't even feel like a girlfriend to him. When I went to Anime Boston (day 1, the day I bought the cross), I met a Prussia cosplayer (talking Hetalia here XD) that I have known as a roleplayer on facebook for a while. The same day I also met an Italy Cosplayer. Due to the fact that I still felt like I was single, after spending the entire first day of Anime Boston with those two people, I developed a crush on both of them. A week later, both accepted my confession and agreed to be in a threeway relationship with me. Because I love these two oh so much~, I have not stopped wearing the cross ever since they accepted my confession. Even if I did take it off just to draw this still-life of my hand (who knew my left hand could stay so still for so long!) This cross has NEVER left my sight.
And yes, I DID go onto SAI and played around with the blur tool to make it all pretty.
I'll post the more sketchy version into my scraps if you all want to see that to~
