Guess what: I'M BACK! 8D

That's right~! I got back a day earlier than I predicted too. I thought I'd be back on the 21st only because the last day of camp was usually on a Sunday. I'm willing to get back to work, but I have a LOT of catching up to do, mainly on my RP account on facebook. So don't expect too much right away.

More news about camp is that I might be gone next summer too. I really love that camp, so I decided to start training to become a counsler there. In order to do that, I can either go on ICEP (International Camper Exchange Program), Reach (running a day-camp in a native American reservation), or I can become an aide (leader in training) at the camp.

If I go on ICEP or become an aide I can still go online. But if I go on Reach, I will be gone for an entire month. Even if I could use technology on Reach there wouldn't be much service anyway. Even so, more than ever, I am considering Reach because it's said to be a life-changing expericance. It's very emotional (to a point you hear about kids being hospitalized, arrested, or even killed on a daily basis), but a girl who just got back from Reach said it would probably be great for leadership training.

But if I end up on ICEP, I plan to go to ICEP Japan. In that program I will be acting as an 'older sister' to a child/pre-teen, even going to school with them (since schools in Japan still go on during the summer.)

And if I become an aide, I'll still be able to contact everyone online, just not as often. Campers WILL be my first priority if that's the case. Besides, I would get a few days off too. (Since aides normally do up to 300 hours of community service. So it's technically a law for us to get days off.) During my days off I can probably go home too.

I'm just talking a lot about this because I am going to be mailed an application to the three programs in just a few days, the deadline being October 15th.

Somehow I feel a LOT more mature . Anyway, I missed you all and I'm glad to be back!

Oh and I almost forgot! What would you all say if I told you that I helped break a world record? That's right, I did so this last Thursday. My camp more than DOUBLED the old record for worlds longest line of tacos. The old record was 225, my camp broke that world record with a total 449! 8D
